THE NIGHT WATCHMAN

Set within the crime thriller genre, THE NIGHT WATCHMAN is the dramatic story of a fractured family dealing with wounds of the past. At the center of the story are a homeless drifter (Walter) and his old friend (Manny) who owns a local Chicago diner. When Manny informs him that he is the father of a teenage boy, Walter retreats to a nearby cemetery to confront his past demons. Walter awakens from a botched suicide attempt to find armed sex-traffickers (Angus and Danny) preparing to bury an immigrant girl (Marta) near the grave of the boy’s mother. As Walter attempts to help Marta, the boy (Glenn) sets out to find Walter and runs head-first into the dire situation unfolding in the cemetery. The extreme circumstances forge a powerful bond between Walter, Glenn and Manny as a criminal underworld is unleashed hellbent on finding Marta and making them all pay.
